How should a autologin with Zend_Auth look like? Should I just skip the Zend_Auth-part?

I'm planning on saving 3 cookies; 'username', 'password' and a bool 'autologin'.
And where should I put this check, in the dispatcher?

Hopefully someone can clear this for me
