Thread: having a problem with urls

I am a student and I am learning new things. I have followed a tutorials and created a login page that after authentication check if valid, it redirects to the another controller's view. Everything is working as expected but one thing is that if i type the url to which the login page redirects in the browser it goes to that page , there by making the login authentication useless. I want to troubleshoot the problem that if some one types the url of the main page if he is not logged in then he has to get redirected to the login page . please help me learn Thank you!
