Alright, I'm in the middle of a development. The problem is that well going folders /apps/views/scripts is becoming a little annoying and I want to be able to change it to /templates

I tried to use (zend_view)setBasePath but it didn't work as expected. Any suggestions?

You were close; setScriptPath was the function you needed however.

Bear in mind that not following convention makes it harder for other developers to jump into your work. This may or may not be important for you.
