Hi!
my name is john and i am new to the field of developing complex websites with the zend framework. i hope somebody can give me a kind of kickstart of how to build up the structure of the zend framework for the website i am planning right now. its a relatively complex website with many functionalities and user-generated content. the question i have more or less has a very basic background: i am wondering how to define the modular folder structure of the zend framework and how to approach the implementation of the basic structure of the website. the file structure i have looks similar like this: application modules default module 1 module 2 ... it is pretty obvious that a blog, a group-system or a message service can be implemented as a module. how to i implement the basic structure of the website, though? e.g. - Navigations and the linking between the points (Main Navi, Sub-Navi, Footer Navi) - Main Layouts (Startpage, Members Area) in other words the mainframe of the site where all the regular modules are basically loaded into. is that an own module or do i split all the parts up into own modules? maybe somebody can recommend a good tutorial which can enlighten me a little bit. there are probaly several solutions for the problem but what could be the most efficient one? thanks a lot in advance! john |
