Default Passing a URL in a parameter

I am trying to pass a URL as a parameter in ZF, e.g.

/controller/action/url/http://www.google.com

However, when doing this, due to the forward slashes in the URL it doesn't work.

I was wondering if anyone has been able to combat this issue?

Thanks

easiest way is to not pass the http:// part, otherwise you need to encode the url
