Using flashmessenger and multi POST avoidance

I'm having a login form and I'm using FlashMessenger as described here:
Zend Framework: Documentation

The problem is, that at the end of the loginAction i want to use ->redirect("/"); to avoid the user to POST again the same data with F5(refresh).
But when I do redirect, the flash is cleared.
Any hint on how to override this?
