The Zend_Layout works at the Post_Dispatch stage. Is there any way to make a plugin run before the Zend_Layout? I would like to set the layout and add the modules of specific to that layout based on the actions which were executed and the login state and role of the user. For example, left toolbar has a search box for the public site but the Admin tools doesn't even have a toolbar.
