thread subscriptions

When creating a new topic or making a post could you set "Thread subscription" to "instant email" by default?

I've added a few posts, didn't realise that there was a setting for this and ended up forgetting all about the thread. I've had a reply and didn't even know!

Email alerts that someone has replied are obviously very useful. It would also poke people into reading/responding more.

May improve the traffic vol too

forgot it again! thats what you get for having the "submit" button above the options.

And these beers probably didn't help either...
