Default CSS questions

hi, i just started using framework ans was wondering if anyone ould point me in the right dirrection when it comes to css.

I know i can just link to an external style sheet through the .phtml file, but i dont know if that is the right way to do it.

If any one could give any pointers or ideas it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi Rob,

As a pointer I would suggest you take a look at the following page:

I find it easier to just type out the link tag in the template. CSS is all front end code so it doesn't have much to do with the Zend Framework.

If your question is asking whether ZF should be doing something to generate your CSS or provide the CSS file, the answer is no.

Put it in your public docroot as normal and just link to it in your phtml file

Well, try your best not to link to it through a view script.
It's just best practice to keep them in the <head>, which is in your layout.
