IMHO both IE and FF sucks, I use only Opera It's extremely fast, secure and highly customizable. Opera includes integrated e-mail and rss/atom clients and torrent download agent.

You can download full free version at Download Opera Web Browser. Available for Windows, Linux, MacOS, FreeBSD, Solaris, BeOS and QNX with national language support

Is an amazing browser too, but I really love the Web Developer Add On toolbar, and the URL Hacking AddOn.

Is there something similar for Opera?

Cheers

Firefox is better. But you still probably want to leave IE installed. You can't download microsoft updates on firefox. And some websites (very few) don't display correctly in firefox and/or let you do downloads. But firefox is definitely better.

I would have to say Firefox because it just works great and looks great. I also like all the developer tools it has and the extensions are indeed awesome! IE7 isn't all that bad, but Firefox just is better.

FF for development purposes (Webdev toolbar and Firebug), but WebKit's daily build pwns them all (for OS X)
