Default Internet Explorer Vs Firefox

I'm new to the forum & I love online debates so I thought I would kick off my first post with this, I only just downloaded firefox and i love it, my vote goes to firefox and i will never go back! I mainly like it because it has tabbed browsing, its fast, includes spell checking, you can add extra plugins & extensions! if you use firefox already, upgrade to firefox 2 now, if you don't have it yet, download it FREE from: Firefox

Which do you prefer? please cast your vote & give your views...

Well, I think IE has something Firefox doesn't.
Example: IE able to display excel files inside the browser. but firefox need to download it then open with MS.Excel.

So, I cant vote which is better. But, if Firefox has plugin to do what the example above, I'll vote for Firefox. :-)

Firefox. It will take Internet Explorer 8 before IE even catches up anywhere close. Firefox is a total memory hog, unstable if you install certain third party extensions, and seizes up when it meets heavy javascript processing (all this isn't really as bad as it sounds ), but it's standards compliant, extendable, and has several really cool developer tools (e.g. Firebug). Been using it for years now...

Of those 2 I prefer ff. Mainly because of developer tools. It's nice and easy. IE 7 is not all that bad (aside from UI...)

You should add to the poll opera as well - as I like opera too. Safari on windows looks promising. even if it looks like a monkey in antarctica.

Default Firefox!

The most interesting thing about Firefox is that it's multiplatform, so I can get used to one single browser and run it on my Windows, Mac and Linux boxes. And don't forget about extensions, they allow me to constantly add features to the browser (again, in multiplatform). IE is just far from being so convenient

OO is a lot better than MS Office, it has, in example, an inttegrated export to PDF, very usefull when doing presentations, and of course is Open and free, against MS Office wich is propietary, and of course very very expensive.
