Hello,
i was wondering if someone has developed a complete application with ZF and published the code. I'm looking for an example application, such as a blog o somewhat like, which makes use of forms, with data filtering and validation, which seems to be the crucial point of this framework. Googling around, I found only a very young blog project which seems to be stuck on "hello world". This one is available here. The planning is very interesting, but no code is available yet. ![]() If you have any interesting link please post it, as it would be useful to many people beside me. Thank you all. |

Go to Maugrim The Reaper's Blog and the first 4 parts are posted.

Well, Mik, I came here looking for that very thing - a working example app - but apparently there is no such thing. The code for the example app over at Maugrim The Reaper's Blog (the same one everyone else is citing) is supposedly posted here , but it looks like you'll have to down load it one directory and file at a time, and the guy only claims that it is "the full source code for the entire application (as it exists thus far)", so I don't have much faith in it.
In fact I've pretty well lost faith in this whole ZF approach. When the people writing the demos (see for example the Official Quick Start among others) can't get their code to work even on bare bones, trivial example apps, I have to wonder about the legitimacy of the whole effort. I don't mean to beat up on Wil and the folks working on the Quick Start. They've be awfully nice and patient with me, and they've put an enormous effort into the QS, but that's really my point. Even the folks officially connected with ZF can't get a working app put together. I keep coming back to ZF hoping I can crack this nut, but so far I've been thwarted. So if anyone knows where an actual WORKING example of a ZF app is, I'd love to see it. |

Oh, boy. Can it get any worse? I just went over to the Quick Start page and got this error:

This is my first post here. I'm still on the steep part of the learning curve for the Zend Framework.
The most impressive open source application I've seen using ZF is the Digitalus CMS from Forrest Lyman. Version 1.0.1 was released a few days ago. digitalus-site-manager - Google Code |
