I am really new to the zend framework. I would like to have a template engine. I just want to know that if any template engines are there in the zend framework...

Also I need to know how to make a database connection and work with it.

Hi Aneevs,

By default, PHP is the templating language and I use that for the time being. However, there are a few howtos to using Smarty with Zend Framework, not sure how many are up to date with ZF 1.5, but Google around a bit and see what suites you.
