Yeah this blog was the best resources to learn how to build and design a zend framework based application.
I am also looking for these tutorials. Do you have any backup?
Hope Padraic Brady will put back the archives online.

Google Cache is your best bet. You should be able to get the gist of how to use the Zend Framework from what you find cached. The problem with following a tutorial code for code is you dont really learn anything besides how to put it together. You need to adapt it to your needs as you go.

While I think it's nice that insic is reposting this (!Dennis) it does seem a little strange, unless I'm missing (edit: like the post 3 down explaining the origin) something there's no indication that the tutorial is the work of Pádraic Brady.

Anyway, over lunch I've done a little digging of my own. This tutorial is probably the most clearly written, informative, enjoyable and accessible of any I've read.

Doing a quick lookup returns REJECTED so a quick check on the WHOIS gives us the primary DNS (ns*.slicehost.net, the origin of the rejected queries) and the registrar, which is DreamHost.

Querying the DreamHost DNS directly does returns a response:

    blog.astrumfutura.com: 208.97.157.12
    astrumfutura.com: 208.97.174.207

Adding a hosts-file entry I can now navigate to the page and read Pádraic Brady's explanation myself. Mystery solved.

Copied below for your own edification and reading pleasure:

    Blog Offlined By Host

Due to the record breaking traffic received by this blog due directly to the post you're probably looking for about the Zend Framework Blog Application Tutorial, my host have disabled the blog indefinitely. Dreamhost just sent me a support ticket notifying me of it.

My apologies for the inconvenience obviously. I am endeavouring to figure out how to host the tutorial series short of a dedicated host which is capable of managing the traffic its attracting. I'll see how that goes. Fingers crossed.

In the meantime, I need to go away and admit that I need more than shared hosting for my online stuff. It was good while it lasted. No management, low cost, cheap provider change. Now I face the ghastly duties of managing something . I hate server management when it's dragged into my personal time.

    Best regards,
    - Paddy

    Update #2

I've identified Slicehost.com as my next hosting provider. There is a 512MB slice on the way for hosting and I'll be centralising a few items to take advantage of the bumped up performance capacity.

    Update #1

Subversion is weathering the storm at Revision 122: /.

Still no reply from Dreamhost as to a specific cause, so I'm remaining at the assumption of traffic explosion . I'll ask regulars to remain patient. There's no clue as to when I can get the blog up short of migrating it to a hardier VPS or dedicated server before the weekend. In the meantime I'm working on a sideline project to bring everyone the promised HTML and PDF versions of the full tutorial. I will delay publishing Part 9 of the series until next Monday.

ouch, thats Padraic's Notice after the first downtime. ive already read that.

ZMG i dont expect you to put my name in there. whats your purpose dude? You want us to think that you know how to lookup nameservers? and publish to the public our names? and then you get a hall of fame. Anyway thank you for taking some time to lookup my identity.

    insic,
Are you asking me to take it down? I looked it up it because for all I knew you were Pádraic. Public records are good like that. I don't think you have to be smart to use them.
