Responsibilities

• Web application programming primarily in PHP
• Working on cross-functional teams for large integrated web applications.
• Work as part of an internal development team and help further build existing web applications
• Participate in all phases of the web application project, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Recognize the business objectives and constraints and plan accordingly

Required Experience

• 2+ years Professional PHP Web Development
• Experience in one or more OOP languages such as Java, .Net, or Ruby
• Expert knowledge in SQL and experience with MySQL 4 or 5
• Object-oriented design principles in PHP5 a big plus
• MVC design pattern and MVC frameworks (e.g. Ruby on Rails, Zend Framework, CakePHP)
• JSON, XML, SOAP- and REST-based web services - the more the better
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. CVS, Subversion, SourceSafe)
• A long-standing interest about the Internet, pop culture, video games and technology trends
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
