Last summer I installed debian on my old desktop computer and alot of different tools to get it to work as gateway/firewall. I got it working but the clutter with so many different tools is a pain.

Your project intrests me alot but I wonder if you have any specification on what you are planning to include and how far you have gotten now? ...I haven't got time to help out right now but maybe in the fall.
